Job summary

Technogen, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead a security operations center, oversee incident response, and manage a regional security team onsite with monthly travel requirements.

You will balance technical expertise with operational leadership, develop and implement security procedures, and drive improvements in loss control and risk management within a long-term contract engagement.

Position: Security Operations Manager

Location: Cleveland, OH (This role would require the candidate to work onsite once a month so we would prefer local or nearby located candidates who can manage without having to travel)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Note : This role would require a balance of technical expertise in SOC operations, incidence response and operational experience and technical team leadership.

Job Description:

• Provides direct supervision to a large team of operational, production, sales, service or administrative team members, or a small staff of professional-level team members.
• Work is guided by operational and project objectives.
• Sets and communicates clear expectations for work outcomes and manages performance.
• Manages a staff of professional-level team members or manages a team through lower-level supervisors.
• Works within general policies and management guidance, independently determining approach to managing daily operations.
• Provides guidance and technical advice, becoming actively involved as necessary.
• Develops, modifies and executes company policies that affect Company operations(s) across a small geographical area.
• Develops, implements and maintains security procedures to meet business requirements.
• Analyzes, investigates and recommend process improvements related to loss control and incident reports.
• Manages and is accountable for the Security budget for the operations across a small geographic area.

Role Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial security programs and the ability to identify and evaluate policies and procedures to compliment the business objectives while protecting company personnel and assets.
• Certified Protection Professional or Certified Fraud Examiner or equivalent internationally recognized qualification.
