First Mid Bank & Trust in Mattoon, IL seeks a Director of Information Security Operations to lead and advance the enterprise information security program. The role oversees the SOC, external security providers, and drives threat detection, incident response, and regulatory compliance to protect the organization and its subsidiaries.

The position requires a highly ethical, analytical leader capable of managing multiple priorities in a regulated, complex environment, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• 8+ years information security or related IT leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Advanced security certifications preferred or in progress.
• Experience in financial services security practices.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Information Security Team Function.
• Own and execute the Information Security Strategy.
• Oversee Enterprise Security Technologies and Solutions.
• Establish and enhance Security Processes and Controls.
• Manage and triage First Mid Security Issues and Incidents.
• Lead/Manage/Assist First Mid-Information Security/Organizational Projects.
• First Line of Defense Testing/Threat Hunting.
• Strengthen Enterprise Cyber Resilience.
• Partner Across the Enterprise.
• Manage and assist with internal pen testing and internal systems auditing.
• Manage Infosec Policies and KRI's.
• On-call rotation responsibilities.
