The Manager, Security Operations at Bugcrowd leads a team of Security Consultants, ensuring timely triage, validation, and resolution of security submissions with a strong foundation in application security and incident response.

The ideal candidate combines leadership with hands-on expertise in web, cloud, and mobile security, driving operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Security Operations, Application Security, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, or related field.
• Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring technical teams.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and vulnerability classes.
• Experience with incident response, triage, and validation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Security Consultants through regular feedback and performance management.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in at least one security specialty (web, network, cloud, or mobile).
• Demonstrate expertise across vulnerability submission types and support escalations/commercials.
• Drive operational excellence by measuring performance and identifying automation opportunities.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage team workloads to match customer priorities.
• Mentor team members and contribute to the growth of the security organization.
• Build cross-functional partnerships to improve workflows and customer outcomes.
• Lead effective meetings and communicate priorities clearly.
• Provide sound technical judgment and operational insight to leadership and customers.
• Stay current on security standards and emerging threats.
