Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned security leader to head the Channelview Complex security operations. You will serve as the Facility Security Officer for MTSA compliance, direct a team of security technicians, and oversee a large contract security force to ensure readiness and regulatory conformity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in security, HSE, emergency response, or a related field; alternatively, 10 years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in security, HSE, emergency response, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading, supervising, and developing employees and/or contractors in a management capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all day-to-day security operations for the Channelview Complex.
• Serve as Facility Security Officer for MTSA requirements under 33 CFR 105.105.
• Supervise and develop four security technicians and a contract security force of 50+ personnel.
• Maintain site security readiness and compliance with MARSEC and MTSA requirements.
• Develop and implement security plans, procedures, training programs, drills, and exercises.
• Conduct security vulnerability assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with U.S. Coast Guard, local law enforcement, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain records for training, audits, incidents, access control, and compliance.
