Job summary

SJ SOLUTIONS SECURITY & PROTECTION SERVICES INC in New York, NY is seeking a Security Supervisor responsible for overseeing and training Security Officers. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of clients and staff, respond to emergencies, and conduct various meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Security Guard License and current 8 Hour Annual Certificate.
• F02 Certificate of Fitness- Fire Guard for Shelters.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification must be obtained upon hire.
• Narcan trained preferred within 30 days of employment.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends and overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and direct Security Officers.
• Ensure effective use of magnetometer and x-ray machine.
• Respond to emergencies and provide support to staff.
• Conduct daily security and fire safety inspections.
• Complete daily security reports.
• Check inventory of assigned equipment and investigate discrepancies.
