Job summary

SMI Security is seeking a seasoned Security Operations Manager to oversee approximately 4,000 contracted hours across multiple client accounts in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Lead a hands-on security operations team, ensure staffing and compliance with client requirements and company policies, and drive incident response and risk management.

The role requires a proactive leader with extensive private security experience, strong staff oversight, and the ability to coordinate with dispatch,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in security operations management.
• Proven experience supervising security personnel.
• Strong knowledge of private security operations, staffing, scheduling, and personnel management.
• Ability to travel throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
• Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License, where required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall operational leadership for assigned security accounts representing approximately 4,000 contracted hours.
• Ensure all contracted posts are appropriately staffed and operational requirements are consistently met.
• Coordinate with the Operations Team, Night Operations Team, and Dispatch to maintain continuity of service.
• Monitor overtime and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
• Maintain professional client relationships and communicate performance to clients and management.
• Prepare and submit required operational reports and documentation.
