Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist for the BRIC team in our on-site Burlington, NJ facility. This role provides 24/7 oversight, supports incident response, threat monitoring, and investigation activities to keep store operations secure.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience, proficiency with BRIC software, CCTV systems, and OSINT tools, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience preferred.
• Ability to navigate multiple software platforms supporting BRIC initiatives.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities; communicate with associates at all levels.
• Flexible scheduling capability (nights/weekends/holidays).
• Asset Protection, Security, Emergency Management/Response, and Investigations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate intake of incident reports from store teams and assess events against guidance to determine escalation needs.
• Monitor BRIC technology to identify threats, risks, and weather-related risks affecting operations.
• Support internal and external investigations; use case management and OSINT to identify theft, fraud, or threats.
• Vigilantly monitor alarms during nighttime hours and coordinate swift, appropriate responses.
• Develop expertise in CCTV operation and maintenance; audit third-party guard adherence to guidelines and post orders.
• Evaluate and execute emergency guard requests in collaboration with field partners.
