Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced cybersecurity leader to mature enterprise defensive security operations across complex IT environments. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with executive communication and stakeholder management.

You will guide a large team overseeing SOC functions, incident response, threat hunting, and digital forensics while driving a proactive, intelligence-driven security program across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience leading Security Operations Center (SOC) functions and incident response teams.
• Proven success managing major cyber incidents including data breaches or intrusions.
• Strong background in threat detection, hunting, monitoring, and forensics.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR and threat intel platforms.
• Knowledge of adversary TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience building or maturing cybersecurity operations programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of cybersecurity professionals and front-line leaders for security operations and forensics.
• Oversee 24/7 security monitoring and response functions with timely detection and containment.
• Serve as the primary incident leader during high-impact cyber events with cross-functional coordination.
• Improve detection capabilities, investigations, automation, and operational rigor.
• Drive continuous improvement with accountability and operational metrics.
