Job summary

CRB is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to strengthen security, privacy, and resilience across cloud, endpoints, and enterprise systems. You will collaborate with IT, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to translate requirements into practical controls.

The role reports to the Director of Security Engineering and offers a hybrid schedule with in‑office presence three days per week in Dallas or other listed locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, CS, or related field; equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity, IT ops, or related discipline.
• Experience with enterprise endpoints, SaaS, identity systems, and distributed workforces.
• Experience with vulnerability management, pen testing, incident response, and digital forensics.
• Administering Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, Intune or similar.
• Working knowledge of SSO, SAML, MFA, PAM, provisioning, least-privilege.
• Automation with Python or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with MSSPs for security operations, vulnerabilities, and third‑party services.
• Maintain security/privacy risk register and governance artifacts.
• Develop security policies, runbooks, and incident response docs.
• Coordinate audit readiness and evidence collection.
• Implement and improve security controls across cloud and on‑prem systems.
• Own IAM processes: Entra ID, SSO, MFA, provisioning.
• Support endpoint security, patching, device compliance, asset lifecycle.
• Maintain inventories of assets, accounts, data flows.
• Collaborate with IT/business to improve secure configuration and resilience.
• Evaluate new security technologies for fit.
