Job summary

CRB is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to strengthen security, privacy, and resilience across enterprise technology. You will partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls and sustainable processes.

The role reports to the Director of Security Engineering and supports hybrid work with in-office three days per week, located in Kansas City or other listed hubs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, infrastructure management, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting enterprise endpoints, SaaS platforms, identity systems, and distributed workforces.
• Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, incident response, and security monitoring.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, Intune, or comparable identity and endpoint management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CRB's primary technical liaison to MSSPs, overseeing security operations and remediation efforts.
• Maintain the enterprise security and privacy risk register and governance artifacts.
• Develop and maintain security policies, runbooks, and incident response documentation.
• Lead audit readiness and compliance activities with evidence collection and remediation tracking.
• Implement and improve security controls across cloud environments and enterprise systems.
• Own IAM processes including Entra ID, SSO, MFA, and provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Support endpoint security, patch management, and asset lifecycle operations.
• Automate security workflows using Python, PowerShell, Power Automate, or Jira Automation.
