Job summary

American Fidelity is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to design and implement secure solutions across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will drive automated security tooling, governance, and threat detection while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

You will mentor other teams, respond to incidents, and elevate exposures through defined processes. Experience with Workday security and IAM integrations is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting and implementing tool-driven security solutions.
• Ability to design and maintain security governance and controls.
• Familiarity with SDLC security practices and secure coding.
• Experience with Workday security architecture and IAM integrations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, architect, implement, support and maintain automated security solutions.
• Lead security integrations across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid platforms.
• Develop security playbooks, monitor threats, and respond to incidents.
• Mentor teams on security concepts and best practices.
• Evaluate ML/AI and data analytics for proactive security actions.
