M1 Global is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Fort Wayne, IN. The role offers 2 weeks of PTO, paid training to SOC Analyst level, and opportunities with a Fortune 500 client. Join our team and contribute to protecting critical infrastructure while growing your security career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug test and background screening.
• State Security License preferred; we can help obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Audit and review security systems to identify vulnerabilities and improvements.
• Monitor alarms, access control, and intrusion systems to identify true threats and reduce false positives.
• Coordinate and dispatch resources during security incidents, serving as the primary communication hub.
• Lead communication during crisis events, including preparedness alerts and business continuity actions.
• Support commissioning, testing, and configuration of new or upgraded security systems.
• Compile documentation and evidence for reports, audits, and investigations.
• Refine security procedures based on evolving threats and operational needs.

Your Responsibilities:

• Audit and review security systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
• Monitor and analyze alarms, access control, and intrusion systems to identify true threats and reduce false positives
• Coordinate and dispatch resources during security incidents, serving as the primary communication hub

Communication & Compliance

• Escalate incidents according to established procedures
• Provide clear, calm communication during rapidly evolving situations
• Collaborate with internal teams and client representatives
• Follow all SOC SOPs, post orders, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in drills, tabletop exercises, and ongoing training

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug test and background screening.
• Prior experience in security, military, corrections, or law enforcement is a plus.
