Job summary

Stuller is seeking a seasoned Security Operations professional to join our IT security team in Lafayette, LA. The role focuses on monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management to protect customer data and maintain PCI-DSS compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in information security, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical audiences. This full-time position requires unrestricted work authorization in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in information security, IT security, systems, or related field.
• Familiarity with security tools, log analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Knowledge of information security policies, frameworks (NIST CSF), and compliance practices.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, professional, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, and events to identify threats, anomalies, and trends.
• Investigate incidents and document findings; recommend containment and remediation.
• Analyze data to identify recurring issues, risks, and monitoring improvements.
• Support policy implementation, procedures, standards, and compliance tracking.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve security issues while balancing needs.
• Assist with vulnerability management, system hardening, and configuration reviews.
• Prepare reports and metrics for management and security leadership.
• Participate in incident response, including after-hours support.
• Maintain awareness of threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices through ongoing learning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to summarize findings clearly.
• Excellent report writing and documentation; ability to work independently and across teams.
