Job summary

Certara USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to join our information security program in St. Louis. You will participate in the operation and maintenance of security systems, investigate enterprise security events, and respond to incidents under guidance.

You will perform intrusion detection, contribute to forensic investigations, and lead smaller security initiatives while collaborating with multiple departments. Some travel may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Certifications such as CEH or CompTIA CySA+ are a plus.
• Familiarity with KQL, Python, PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of endpoint and network behavior analysis.
• Experience with security incident response and forensics.

Responsibilities

• Understand and contribute to basic physical and technical security controls.
• Prioritize and diagnose incidents; perform incident response and escalation.
• Maintain security and compliance tasks.
• Contribute to security standards, procedures, and processes.
• Assist remediation of vulnerabilities; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Support security investigations and forensics reports.
• Some travel may be required.
