Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Security Analyst to support day-to-day security operations and maintain operational visibility across the security environment from our Boston office.

You will triage alerts, coordinate response activities, and work with security engineering and partners to improve detection coverage while reducing false positives. The role emphasizes governance, incident response, and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security operations, incident response or related cybersecurity role.
• Experience investigating alerts across endpoint, identity, cloud or SaaS.
• Experience triaging and managing investigations with ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, log analysis and monitoring tools.
• Understanding MITRE ATT&CK and common attacker techniques.
• Experience with EDR, identity systems, cloud logging or related tech.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and related risks.
• Ability to automate or script to improve security operations.
• Strong analytical skills and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Relevant security certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage and investigate security alerts from internal tooling and external partners.
• Monitor and manage the security operations ticket queue and prioritize investigations.
• Assist with investigations across endpoints, identity, cloud and SaaS platforms.
• Support incident response including containment, documentation and post-incident analysis.
• Respond to threat intel and credential exposure alerts and coordinate remediation.
• Collaborate with security engineers to improve detection and reduce false positives.
• Identify gaps in logging, telemetry, or workflows and drive improvements.
• Assist with threat hunting and investigations using SIEM data and tools.
• Support vulnerability management triage and remediation tracking.
• Own the security operations queue and act as central intake for questions and reports.
