Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Security Analyst to monitor security activity, track vulnerabilities, run phishing simulations, and promote security awareness across the firm. The role supports incident response and policy development in collaboration with the Information Security team.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and certifications, with hands-on experience in Azure cloud security and Defender/CrowdStrike tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of current information security threats and risks.
• Experience with cloud security monitoring (Microsoft Azure).
• Familiarity with security tools such as Defender and CrowdStrike.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security activity and review logs for indicators of threats.
• Assist with incident response, containment, and remediation.
• Coordinate phishing simulations and security awareness initiatives.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Information Security and IT teams to implement controls.
