Job summary

Securitas USA is hosting open interviews for Security Officers in Bismarck, ND. Full-time positions. Walk-ins welcome at 919 S 7th St, Suite 207. Date: 9/16 Time: 10 AM – 1 PM. Wage Range: $19.50–$25.00 per hour.

You will monitor premises, control access, patrol multiple locations, report hazards, provide customer service, and respond calmly in emergencies. Pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work independently.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety issues, hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.

Wage Range: $19.50-$25.00/HR

Our Security helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

We are Currently hiring security officers in the following the cities across North Dakota: Bismarck, Devils Lake, Ellendale, Fargo, Grand Forks, Harwood, and Minot.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Some positions prefer previous security experience.
• Must apply prior to being interviewed.
• Safe Driving, CPR, and FA certifications.
