Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Fulton, MO is hiring part-time Security Officers to maintain a safe environment across client sites. The role includes access control, patrolling, enforcing regulations, and providing customer service to employees and guests.

Shifts are 12 hours, with day and night options; wage is $18.50 per hour. Candidates should be 18+, HS diploma or GED, good computer skills, and willing to undergo screening.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• No security license needed.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must be responsible and dependable.
• Open availability preferred.
• Driver certified.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Respond to incidents, calls, and communicate to the director of security.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Primary Location: Fulton, MO

Wage:$18.50/HR

12 Hour Shifts:

1. 7AM - 7PM
2. 7PM - 7AM

TheSecurity Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
