Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment at our Brentwood, MO sites. Responsibilities include access control, patrolling, reporting hazards, and assisting employees and guests with information.

Shifts include 2300-0700 and 0700-1500, with duties across Brentwood and Westport locations. Requires a HS diploma, reliable demeanor, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits and dailyPay options are available.

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Officer would work 2 shifts at the Brentwood location and 3 shifts at the Westport location, consisting of 4 overnights and 1 first shift on Saturday.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Access control duties.
• Badge creation.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Open availability preferred.
• Must have a strong professional appearance.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Driving record must meet company and or insurance standards.
