Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Security Officer in Fulton, MO. The role covers access control, patrols, and rapid response to incidents to keep clients’ environments safe.

You will interact with guests and staff while upholding client site rules and maintaining vigilance across shifts. The position requires a HS diploma or GED, strong customer service and leadership skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Security experienced preferred.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• No security license needed.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must be responsible and dependable.
• Open availability preferred.
• Driver certified.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, including access control and patrolling multiple sites.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift and conduct property tours.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Full-Time Security Officer

Primary Location: Fulton, MO

Wage: $20.00/HR

12 Hour Shifts:

• 7AM - 7PM
• 7PM - 7AM

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
