Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Security Officers in the greater Portland area. The pay rate for these positions is $24/hr – paid weekly. Must be available to work any day and shift.

• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to any site in the Portland metro area any day of the week.
• Availability for short notice work and call outs preferred.
• Outstanding customer service skills, valid driver’s license, and clean record required.
• Reliability and dependability are essential.
• Minimum of 1 year Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• Willing to work two of three shifts (day, swing, graveyard); preference for 3rd shift availability.
• Must possess a current DPSST unarmed security license; CPR certification is a plus.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to analyze situations, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
• Comfort with using computer systems; experience with access control, wireless scanning, and MS Office is a plus.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Willing to work holidays and weekends.
• Ability to work independently.
• Clean background and drug screening required.

Education & Certification

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Oregon DPSST License required.
