Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Security Officers in the greater Portland area. The pay rate for these positions is $24/hr - paid weekly. Must be available to work any day, shift.

Requirements:

• Must have a reliable means of transportation and be willing and able to travel to any site in the Portland metropolitan area any of the seven days of the week.
• The preferred candidate will have availability for short notice work and call outs, outstanding customer service skills, a valid driver’s license and clean record. Reliability and dependability are a must for these positions.
• A minimum of 1 year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is preferred.
• Must be willing to work a minimum of two of three shifts (day, swing, graveyard), hiring preference will be given to candidates who have 3rd shift (graveyard) availability.
• Must possess a current DPSST unarmed security license; a current CPR certification is a plus.
• Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
• Can mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
• Is generally comfortable using computer systems; experience with access control, wireless device tag scanning and Microsoft Office software is a plus.
• Read and understand written instructions and communicate information and ideas in clear and concise written form and in a timely manner across a variety of platforms.
• Exceptional Report Writing Skills.
• Willing and able to work holidays and weekends.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to work independently.
• Clean background, and drug screen.
