Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Security Officers in the greater Portland area. The pay rate for these positions is $24/hr - paid weekly. Must be available to work any day, shift.

Requirements

• A reliable means of transportation and willingness to travel to any site in the Portland metropolitan area any of the seven days of the week.
• Availability for short notice work and call outs.
• Outstanding customer service skills, a valid driver’s license, and a clean record.
• Reliability and dependability are essential.
• Minimum of 1 year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• Willingness to work a minimum of two of three shifts (day, swing, graveyard), with preference for 3rd shift (graveyard) availability.
• Current DPSST unarmed security license; CPR certification is a plus.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to analyze situations, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
• Comfort with using computer systems; experience with access control, wireless device tag scanning, and Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Ability to understand written instructions and communicate clearly and concisely.
• Exceptional report writing skills.
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently.
• Clean background and drug screen.

Education and Certification

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Oregon DPSST License.
