Job summary

Titan Security Group is seeking Security Officers to patrol and protect sites near the Bay City area in Michigan. You will deliver excellent customer service, conduct foot and vehicle patrols, control access, monitor cameras, and respond to incidents to keep people and property safe.

We welcome individuals who are at least 18, have a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass background checks. Training and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, including lifting up to 75 lbs and patrolling on foot.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered on duty.
• Conduct general patrols on foot and in vehicles to check for security issues.
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and patrols to guard against theft and maintain safety.
• Maintain logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, recording data for management.

Titan Security is currently hiring Security Officers to work at a location near the Bay City area.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Conduct general patrols on foot and within a vehicle to check for security violations like unsafe conditions or unauthorized persons
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 75 lbs, completing foot patrols, sitting, standing, walking, driving for a significant period of time, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• 1 year experience as a security officer
• Bi-lingual considered a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
