University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (UWM) seeks a Security Officer I to safeguard our campus by controlling access and delivering elite service to team members, clients, and guests. The role emphasizes de-escalation, incident reporting, and proactive space protection.
Responsibilities include badge verification, camera monitoring, weapon screening with metal detectors, and patrolling in foot or vehicle. Prior security experience and a valid drivers license are preferred.
