Responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry and exit points.
• Verify identification of staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Issue visitor passes and maintain access logs.
• Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols around the premises.
• Check for signs of intrusion, damage, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure all doors, windows, and gates are secure.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
• Respond quickly to unusual or suspicious movements.
• Report equipment faults immediately.
• Respond to emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, theft, or alarms.
• Take appropriate action and follow established procedures.
• Call emergency services when needed.
• Write incident reports and maintain accurate security records.
• Report hazards, maintenance issues, or safety concerns.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
• Assist visitors with directions and general enquiries.
• Maintain a polite, professional presence at all times.
• Provide reassurance and promote a safe environment.
• Ensure fire exits are clear and safety equipment is functional.
• Support evacuation procedures during drills or emergencies.
• Identify and report safety hazards.
• Safeguard company property, equipment, and confidential information.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
