Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Warehouse Screener in Port Saint Lucie, FL to monitor access, screen personnel and property, and deter incidents in a fast-paced logistics environment. Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures and applicable site requirements.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and shipping-related access authorization, and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility access points and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
