Responsibilities

• Monitor access points, verify IDs and authorization credentials, manage entry of visitors/contractors, maintain logs.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms and critical situations per site procedures and communicate observations to the right personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, loading docks, parking areas and facility perimeter.
• Support controlled entry/exit for personnel, vehicles and deliveries while following site policies and hygiene requirements.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, assist visitors and employees, and help maintain an orderly environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Support a controlled entry and exit process for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries within a food and beverage production location, following applicable site policies and hygiene requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
