Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Ellendale, ND is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for full-time work. You will protect client assets, perform access control at entrances and exits, and conduct patrols both inside and outside client premises in varying weather and terrain.

The role emphasizes customer service, situational awareness, and timely written reporting, with opportunities for growth through our regional management support staff and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required or obtainable within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact calmly with a wide range of individuals.
• Must pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation as needed.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside client premises in various conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team to achieve site goals daily.
• Carry out tasks of similar scope for assigned site.

Wage: $25.00/HR

Available Schedules

• 3pm-11pm
• 11pm-7am
• Flex Positions Available: available any day, at least 2 shifts and will be stationed at multiple site locations.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
