Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate relevant observations and incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.95 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM; Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
