Job summary

Allied Universal in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for weekend shifts to protect clients and property while delivering excellent service. You will interact with employees, contractors and visitors in a professional, welcoming manner.

Responsibilities include patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, monitoring entrances, documenting observations, and reporting incidents to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct routine and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures; document observations and report concerns to leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations for leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.97 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations for Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
