Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to monitor and patrol manufacturing and industrial areas, providing exceptional customer service and reporting observations with integrity.

The position offers a flexible schedule, with day and night shifts; background checks and drug screening are required. Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed) and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalating concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access-control concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
