Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor credentials according to site procedures, reporting concerns as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations with incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access‑control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related events, policy concerns, and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
