Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Incident Reporting Patrol in Lexington, KY. You will perform unarmed patrols, provide customer service, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and shift handoff information.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific access control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
