Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Hebron, KY. You will conduct unarmed patrols, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors at a technology-focused location.

The role offers a flexible weekend schedule (Sat and Sun 6:00 AM–2:00 PM) with opportunities to engage in shift-splitting and growth within a dynamic security team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and security-related concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and designated areas; document observations and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and leadership about security-related needs.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and designated areas in accordance with site-specific requirements and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, changing conditions, and response needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
