Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and track visitor/contractor activity per site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and notify appropriate personnel or responders as required.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activities promptly and in accordance with Allied Universal reporting requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies at a government services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as required.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activities accurately and promptly, following Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
