Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site policies, access-control protocols, and emergency procedures.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, logging visitors/contractors, issuing access materials, and directing authorized personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and access-control concerns; document observations and notify site contacts or leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking, warehouse spaces, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Assist with monitoring vehicle, delivery, and employee traffic while maintaining professional communication with drivers, visitors, employees, and vendors.

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing access materials, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, warehouse spaces, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with monitoring vehicle, delivery, and employee traffic in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining professional communication with drivers, visitors, employees, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
