Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Verification Part Time in Carlisle, PA to protect clients across logistics and distribution and other industries. You will verify credentials, control access points, and respond to security concerns with strong customer service.

This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, with day and night shifts. You will monitor entry points, perform patrols, and support daily operations while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify visitor, contractor, driver, and employee credentials; maintain visitor records; and direct authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing access-control systems, checking identification, and reporting discrepancies, suspicious activity, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, the business, and perimeter; report security-related hazards, damaged access equipment, or unusual conditions.
