Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for warehouse overnight shifts in Independence, KY. You will provide customer service, patrol facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents while upholding site policies and safety standards.

You will work the overnight schedule, support drivers and employees, and help deter security-related incidents with a professional, people-first approach.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving approach.
• Observe loading and shipping areas for security-related concerns and report issues.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively with integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
