Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles per site procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and policy violations and communicate to site leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and policy violations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
