Job Description

Now Hiring: Security Officer – Warehouse Flex

Pay: $20.35/hour

Location: Tesla Rd., Austin, TX

Schedule: Part-time Flex – Various shifts

Workdays: Must have open availability – Monday through Sunday

• 1+ years of security experience
• Flexible and dependable with ability to work different shifts
• Professional demeanor and strong situational awareness
• Reliability in a fast-paced warehouse setting

Allied Universal has security jobs and is seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer.

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. They act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions, and detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may threaten the property, clients, guests, or employees.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Licensing requirements vary by state and/or local laws and regulations, may be required prior to employment
• Driving Positions: valid Driver’s License, at least one year of driving experience, clean driving record, minimum insurance level, ability to operate a vehicle safely
• Background check and drug screen required
• Work at multiple locations, covering shifts, call-offs, vacations
• Available to work any time and day
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills for wireless technology
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Work in various environments, lift up to 40 pounds, climb stairs, stand or walk for long periods
