Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, process visitor and driver entry, and maintain access-control logs.
• Assist with managing vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates, docks, and other entry areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking locations, loading docks, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Monitor access points, verify credentials, process visitor and driver entry, and maintain accurate access-control logs in accordance with site procedures.


• Assist with managing vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates, docks, and other designated entry areas, following established site protocols.


• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate personnel as needed.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking locations, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
