As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will primarily drive assigned routes, conduct routine patrols, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents. You will interact with customers and team members while supporting access control needs and reporting observations. Pre-Employment Requirement:

• Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 11:30 AM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities accurately and complete required reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
