Job summary

Allied Universal in Spokane, WA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Visitor Screening to join our technology-focused site. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while enforcing access-control procedures and responding to incidents.

The role requires screening, verifying IDs, maintaining visitor records, and patrolling assigned areas. Minimum requirements include high school diploma, background check, and valid credentials; CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen incoming personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements and site procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry; maintain accurate visitor and access records as required.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule: Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen incoming personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements and site procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry; maintain accurate visitor and access records as required.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
