Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, delivery documentation, and entry authorization into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited items, and critical situations calmly and report observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Hayward, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and items, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and support smooth operations through teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization for entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited items, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the surrounding business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
