Qualifications

Job Description

As a Security Officer Visitor Registration Driver in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate clearly while supporting a professional environment. This is a driving position. Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain visitor and driver sign-in records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, delivery traffic concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access exceptions, and shift activities accurately, and provide clear handoffs to incoming Allied Universal personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
