Qualifications

• State, county, or city security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas.

As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $17.80 / Hour

Fri 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sat 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
Sun 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct individuals according to site requirements.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with established access-control procedures and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
