Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, log visitors and drivers, and control entry/exit per site procedures.
• Observe vehicle traffic, communicate with dispatch and site contacts, report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate to site contacts and leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking, docks, and perimeter.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, communicate with dispatch personnel and site contacts, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
