Formación

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific security-related procedures, visitor protocols, and reception practices.
• Greet, screen, and direct employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors; verify access authorization and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points and visitor management systems; report unusual activity and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following emergency procedures.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming lobby while protecting confidential information.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Visitor Management Desk in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badges, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use computer-based tools to support security-related operations, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and help maintain an orderly environment. Pay Rate: $28.14 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific security-related procedures, visitor protocols, and reception practices.
• Greet, screen, and direct employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors; verify access authorization and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor access points, visitor management systems, and security-related communications; report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying applicable contacts.
• Support a professional, welcoming lobby environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and protecting confidential information from unauthorized disclosure.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
