Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as per law.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures at an aerospace and defense location.
• Verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation before entry to restricted areas.
• Monitor access points, alarm systems, and visitor activity; maintain logs and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized entry.

As an Access Control Security Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation before permitting entry to restricted areas, in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points, alarm systems, and visitor activity; maintain accurate logs and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized entry; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
